What I do:
As a student, my job is learning all I can about oceanography. I'm really interested in the ocean's biology, especially phytoplankton. I get to participate in all kinds of cool experiments and research. Last summer, I got to live at the shore and work on a research vessel. Not only do I get to study oceanography, I get to go to awesome places to study it.

What do I like best about my job?
I like all of the opportunities. There are so many cool things to study. I also like all of the traveling an oceanographer gets to do.
